With the introduction of strictor licensing controls within the SIA (Security Industry Authority), Group4 Securicor approached us for a solution to their need to recruit a large amount of officers for events at venues, such as Wimbledon and The O2. We provided G4S with a heavily tailored version of our standard Learning Manager product, as a recruitment and selection tool for assessing the appropriateness of candidates for their Security Officer licensing programme.
The system allows new candidates to register their details and perform some training and basic assessment, prior to attending the interview process. The G4S HR team use the system's reporting to filter successful candidates that have the ability to progress through the complex and costly licensing process.

The system has also allowed the classroom element of the licensing process to be reduced down from 5 days to 3 days, leading to significant cost savings. This solution was so unique that is was shortlisted for the “Online Solution of the Year” at the World of Learning Awards 2007.

Recently we have installed Learning Manager - Release 3.0 to provide a more generic platform for delivering training.
