A Learning Management System you can bank on

Learning Manager Global Edition

In November 2009, significant changes in the financial industry (due to the Global Financial Crisis) increased demand for regulatory compliance. Enforced by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), an International Bank had to rapidly implement a Group Policy Learning strategy (within 3 months), or face financial penalties.

It was clear that the considered Group LMS could not be implemented in time to meet this requirement, so Coloni Learning Manager, which was already in use by several of the Bank’s divisions as a tactical solution, was chosen to meet this vital need.

Learning Manager was implemented on a load balanced, multi-server infrastructure to deliver and track results for over 1,250,000 eLearning courses per quarter to meet the demand of the 170,000 global employee user base.

The system was successfully implemented, rigorously load tested to meet the bank’s requirements and launched within 3 months to meet the deadline. Learning Manager has since delivered over 5,000,000 eLearning courses via this one system (equating to over 2 million man hours of training) and has been hailed across the banking group for its success. The system has been running successfully since 2010 to the extent that the ‘temporary’ solution has been extended for 3 years.
